Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Next Film Goes To Dhanush

For the past few days there were many strong rumors that Ram Charan would work with famous Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Several discussions were reportedly held for the project. However the latest reports say the film has now gone to Tamil star Dhanush instead of Ram Charan.

Sanjay will produce the movie while PS Mithran will direct it. The film is said to be a mythological drama and PS Mithran has been closely associated with Bhansali Productions for a long time.

It is still unclear why Charan stepped away from the project. After that the team approached Dhanush and he reportedly agreed.

The shooting of this untitled film is expected to begin in early 2027 after Dhanush completes his current commitments.
